For nearly 20 years, Charles A. Jones (Chuck) has worked to build a world class management team with diverse skills and areas of expertise. Today this accomplished team maintains a laser focus on innovation, integrity, and an unwavering dedication to delivering results.

Our company has grown exponentially since 1993 when Chuck opened Integrated Computer Solutions: a technology company focused on delivering efficient, secure and reliable solutions to understaffed IT departments in schools throughout Southeast Missouri and Western Tennessee.

As ICS began to grow and deliver profits, the C.A. Jones Management Group expanded its managed companies to include those specializing in high-speed wireless broadband, secure hosting solutions, off-site backup, point-of-sale systems, and an automated warehouse solution for the textbook industry.

With firm footing in the technology industry, the C.A. Jones Management Group diversified the companies we manage to include a retail division in 2001. Today this division is comprised of a thriving bridal registry and gift boutique, a home furnishings store, a full-service bookstore and coffee shop, and a printing company.

Our most exciting venture began in 2008 when South Eastern Book Company (SEB), the fourth largest wholesale textbook company in the nation, was added to the list of companies managed by the C.A. Jones Management Group. After analyzing the state of the economy and market trends, SEB made an equity investment in collegebookrenter.com (CBR), an online textbook rental company. Today both SEB and CBR are managed by the C.A. Jones Management Group. While SEB specializes in the wholesale side of textbook distribution, CBR has established itself as a major player in the growing textbook rental industry.

Two thousand eleven was a record year for C.A. Jones Management Group’s textbook division. As the popularity of online textbook purchases exploded, CBR’s revenue grew exponentially. In 2011 alone, CBR saved college students and parents over $30 million.

South Eastern Book Company also delivered record revenue figures in 2011. In order to leverage online purchases of our company’s textbook inventory, SEB restructured our operations and strengthened our inside sales and customer service teams. SEB continues to foster partnerships with brick-and-mortar college stores, and is offering new incentives including higher commissions on in-demand books and select book buys.
