Founded over 30 years ago, South Eastern Book Company is a full-service wholesale textbook distribution company that provides high quality used books to college bookstores across the country. It is the fourth-largest wholesale textbook company in the nation, and is the largest company managed by the C.A. Jones Management Group.
In July 2010, SEB partnered with College Book Renter to afford its longtime bookstore customers access to the growing rental market.
With the changes in the textbook markets in 2011, SEB saw a dramatic shift in how we purchase textbooks in order to grow our inventory. To accommodate this shift and create a stronger, more competitive organization, SEB made the strategic decision to restructure our business model and strengthen our in-house customer service team.
