Charles A. “Chuck” Jones, CEO of C. A. Jones Management Group, LLC, can see clearly beyond the recession. In fact, some may question if the Murray businessman is even aware of tough economic times as he continues to open specialty- retail stores, acquire new businesses, and add to his arsenal of top-producing divisions.

In 1993, Jones started Integrated Computer Solutions Inc., a technology- based company with an emphasis on network installation for the education market. Since that time, he has built, bought, or partnered with 14 companies ranging from the area’s premier bridal registry and fine gifts retailer to the nation’s fourth largest college textbook wholesaler.

Jones combined his interest in technology, financial savvy, and talent for sales to build his private equity firm, which grew from 35 employees to 115 in less than one year. While his company is poised for another year of exponential growth, the driven entrepreneur is continually seeking new endeavors.

Jones’ contributions to numerous boards, committees, and philanthropies, are a testament to his drive and passion for effecting positive change. Jones is involved in political and community organizations and is this year’s co-chairman of the 2009 Calloway County Heart Walk along with his wife, Sarah.

Jones received the John Williams Telecommunications System Management Entrepreneurship Award in April 2009. This award is presented to an individual or company that has started a TSM related company or significantly expanded an operation in Kentucky or the MSU service area. Earlier this month, C.A. Jones Management Group was named Large Business of the Year by the Murray Calloway County Chamber of Commerce.
