In the fall of 2008, with C.A. Jones expanding at a rapid rate, Bud Byars was hired as the company's first-ever Vice President of Facilities. With a wealth of proven experience and expertise, Bud directs all maintenance, repairs and security of the eight C.A. Jones facilities. Additionally, Bud oversees all renovation and construction of upcoming projects.

Bud came to C.A. Jones after a distinguished career at Murray-Calloway County Hospital as Director of Plant Operations. In his 15 years at MCCH, Bud not only oversaw the day-to-day maintenance of the on- and off-site facilities, but also led numerous renovations and additions to the hospital's infrastructure. Prior to joining the MCCH administration, he served as Project Manager for Stanley Jones Corporation.

Bud holds a Bachelors degree from Murray State University in Construction Technology and is a Certified Healthcare Engineer by the Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers. He is also a recipient of the James Mason Leadership Award and a member of the American Society of Healthcare.
